E&I business is seeking a Global Trade Secrets & Risk Management Leader. This is a remote position. The successful individual will create, develop, and lead programs and processes to ensure proper handling of Company Trade Secrets, working towards the maintenance and execution of an E&I Trade Secrets protection strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities:

· Overall leadership and management for the program - in both manufacturing and R&D functions

· Lead the global E&I Trade Secrets Focal Points Network (50+ employees from different businesses and sites in E&I)

· Establish and leverage best practices across all E&I sites and functions.

· Monitor and analyze the Trade Secrets Protection processes all throughout E&I through internal audits, performance reviews, and networking to deliver improvements.

· Influence leadership to support Trade Secrets initiatives and improvements.

· Develop and review Trade Secret Risk Management COTs (critical operating tasks) and drive improvement through completion of these goals annually.

· Review metrics & programs and recommend areas for organizational focus and attention.

· Effectively interface with all levels of the organization

· Provide training to the entire E&I business on Trade Secret best practices and information.

· Support all businesses in properly identifying and creating an inventory of their Trade Secret Information

· Work closely with the different business functions as a trade secret risk management resource to ensure trade secret potential leaks are known and assessed. (i.e., Capital Projects, Contract manufacturing, International Travel)

· Support the Corporate monitoring and investigation process for Data Leak Protection

· Communicate with managers and leadership to resolve issues if the Data Leak Protection reports show red flags from employees.

· Maintain alignment and support for the program from each business, site, and function.

· Leverage resources to support site projects related to data sharing & protection.

· Liaison between trade secret and EAR/ITAR compliance

· Thought partner with all IP related resources.

Qualifications:

· B.S./MS/Ph.D. Engineering or other technical areas (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemistry, or related Sciences/Engineering)

· Minimum 2-5 years of manufacturing or technical experience.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills must work well in both a self-managed and team environment.

· Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others.

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills

· Demonstrated ability to significantly influence/impact the direction of a program.
