  • POSITION SUMMARY The warehouse & receiving Associate will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments to the warehouse, unpacking / uncrating product (metal castings), following quality assurance procedures and documentation for product conformance, and stocking inventory in an efficient and organized manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and organize incoming freight shipments and/or containers

  • Organize product by material, size, trim or other methods

  • Unload iron and steel castings from crates and organize on pallets

  • Perform quality inspections on incoming products, including analyzing material, measuring various dimensions, visual survey, and functional product operation

  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance

  • Stock product in proper locations; creating new inventory locations as needed

  • Other duties as assigned and in scope with role

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages hourly production staff

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to utilize measurement devices, including digital calipers

  • Ability to learn new equipment and procedures

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Forklift license

  • High School Diploma or GED with demonstrated experience

  • Operating of forklift

  • While performing duties of the job, employee is required to move around and be still; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.

  • Employee will occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.

  • Employee will need ability to lift up to 50lbs

  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Office and factory working environments.

  • Required to wear safety glasses and utilize other safety equipment as required while present on the shop floor.
