THE WORK

Seeking candidates to fill the position of F-35 Support Equipment (SE) Field Support Representative (FSR) directly supporting the HPSI Operations Center at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.

*Applicants must be willing to relocate to the Dayton, Ohio area to fill this role; Columbus indicated for req submittal only.*

Successful candidate will support a multi-employee SE Ops Center team at the Wright-Patterson AFB F-35 Hybrid Product Support Integration (HPSI) facility, focused on the support and sustainment of F-35 Program global pool Ground Support Equipment (GSE) deployed world-wide.

Ops Center SE FSR will provide technical guidance and logistics support for a broad range of F-35 SE. Position supports the organizational (unit) level tenant squadron SE sustainment technicians, military SE sustainment personnel and SE equipment mechanics via a 24-hour operations center support role. Daily job duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide remote total customer support as a point of contact for resolving technical problems with program support equipment to F-35 field locations where on-site LM SE sustainment support may or may not be available.

• Provide support equipment problem resolution services to customers on full spectrum of F-35 SE product line.

• Respond to calls and other correspondence from the field and coordinates with the appropriate SE sustainment entities to resolve logistic and technical sustainment issues.

• Advise internal and external SE sustainment customers on shipments, acceptance, induction, operation, maintenance, sustainment, configuration or enhancement of JSF Program global pool SE end items.

Additionally, candidates will have a broad

understanding of military integrated logistics

support, military flightline GSE & aviation

maintenance concepts, Joint Technical Data,

supply chain management and the F-35 SE

Global Sustainment (GS) processes. Candidates

must possess exceptional written and verbal

communication skills, proven technical and

analytical problem solving skills, and a career

background of understanding and operating

modern information and database management

systems. Successful candidate must also be a

self-starter and have the ability to consistently

exercise appropriate discretion in the

performance of duties. Must be willing to support

multiple aspects of SE sustainment needs as part

of the larger F-35 SE sustainment operation

involving SE database updates, shipping and

logistics coordination, and integration into the

broader LM-government HPSI collaboration

operation on site.

Position mandates a flexible work schedule to

provide coverage for local and field operations

customer requirements to include possibility of

weekend work. Applicants must be willing to

support first, second or third shift operations as

needed.

Basic Qualifications:

Aerospace Ground Support Equipment maintenance & sustainment experience or commensurate related experience with military / civilian flightline aircraft or GSE sustainment operations.

Experience utilizing military technical data and vendor engineering documents.

Capable of working in an office / operations center / telecommuting environment.

Knowledge of industrial and aircraft maintenance safety standards.

Candidate must have a Secret security clearance, active within the past two years.

Desired Skills:

Military flight-line maintenance experience;

Ground Support Equipment maintenance

experience;

SE data management experience;

Familiarity with DoD maintenance manuals;

Excellent Problem Solving Skills;

Experience with military standard maintenance practices;

Proficient using MS Office Software including: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Words, and Access;

Professional focused on mission success;

Proficient in the use of modern IT systems;

Excellent communication skills;

Unwavering professionalism

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
