Job Summary: This position leads collaboration between HEME (team) Members, CXL (the facility) Manufacturing Engineers, EXD (business unit) Engineering team, Component Business Divisions and Supplier Management Teams. This position represents HEME China in assembly space and participates all ME related activities, engages with related teams and brings value for EXD business.

What You Will Do :

• Responsible for leading HEME mission statement in Assembly space related China Manufacturing.

• Participates any assembly related activities in China, engages with related teams and brings value for EXD business.

• Support/lead in HEME to reduce total cost of manufacturing from assembly perspective.

• Work collaboratively with EXD Engineering, HEX Manufacturing Facilities, Component Business Divisions, and Supplier Management Teams to reduce the cost of poor quality while improving profitability and customer satisfaction.

• Support EXD Smart Manufacturing and Electrification product developing in Assembly .

What You Have:

English communication skill: Good English skills both in writing and oral.

Networking skill: Should have the knowledge and experiences of working in a diverse environment. Effectively communicate between different teams from different culture and collaborate with other teams, from facility level or business unit level, to provide solutions to solve manufacturing process related issues.

Technical skill: Have the knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Quality and Safety. It is nice to have if the candidate is familiar with Caterpillar Manufacturing Engineering and Quality requirements, process or etc.

Other skills: If the candidate has experience in Problem Solving, Global cooperation , Project Management and Lean Manufacturing will be the bonus points.

Degree: A college or university degree in engineering is preferred
