BAE Systems Materials Support Manager - 1st Shift in York, Pennsylvania

Job Description

As a Materials Support Manager you will;

  • Drive safety culture focused on exposure reduction

  • Supervise Material Control Specialists for 1 st Shift on assigned support functions across Value Streams

  • Support Functions are Big Moves, Integrated Supply, Kitting, Tent Management, and Non-Conforming Material movement.

  • Support consistent availability of Quality Material On-Time to support production demands.

  • Drive adequate hand-off to other shifts, and ensure exceptions are handled expeditiously.

  • Provide direction to Material Control Specialists including shift work assignments, handling of escalations, and management of barrier resolution.

  • Support development and enhancement of employee standard work

  • Coordinate cross-value stream resource planning with other Material managers as required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience

  • Understanding of key concepts in material planning / replenishment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85200 - $144800

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
